Comprehensive Eye Exam

At Southern Vision Eye Care, a comprehensive eye exam provides a full evaluation of all aspects of your eye. Not only do we evaluate your vision and determine whether you need glasses, we also perform an external and internal medical evaluation of your eye. We will dilate your eyes and use special instruments to aid in examination, looking for potential eye disorders and diseases. Examinations include tests for glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and the ocular effects of many general health disorders such as diabetes and high blood pressure, as well as effects of medications. Our doctors attend continuing education each year to keep abreast of new treatments and technology in the eye care field.
